Merryn Straker is co-founder of Straker Translations with her husband, Grant. Having grown Straker into one of the world’s leading AI powered translation service providers they sold the business in 2025. Earlier this year they took up another joint venture - Slicify - with Merryn as Head of Reality in building secure AI secure AI infrastructure so businesses can deploy custom AI on their own terms, with their data, on their own infrastructure. She has also been named joint EY Entrepreneur of the Year and has been a Director of Morgo since 2024.
