A mechanical engineer by trade and former elite paratrooper Grant was the co-founder(with his wife) of Straker AI, an AI based technology company that they built from a bedroom startup in 1999 to a $100m IPO on the ASX in 2018.
With a background in AI based technology from early machine learning, he has more than a decade of working with AI.
After stepping down after 26 years of running Straker, and putting off sailing around the world with the family due to the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity with AI, Grant is now focused on the AI startup scene and is building AI solutions for Insurance, Sports and Realestate with his new company "Slicify AI".
