Simon Howard is a founding member and CTO of Bastion Security Group, a 120-person-strong cyber security consultancy. He has over 20 years experience in the IT industry, starting life as a C programmer and then moving into security engineering, architecture, penetration testing and strategy. Simon also co-founded and assists with the running of Australasia's largest hacker conference, Kawaiicon (previously known as Kiwicon).
