Matt Hayter

Matt Hayter is Co-Founder, Chief Product Officer, President, and former CEO of Projectworks - a platform for consultancies to better run their firms. After spending a decade at Kiwi tech consultancy, Provoke Solutions, Matt spotted an opportunity to spin out the platform they had built internally into its own startup. He gathered up some co-founders, secured some funding, and Projectworks was born.

As CEO, Matt took Projectworks from idea to global player in the Professional Services Automation space, leading multiple funding rounds, assembling a global team, and building a large offshore customer base. All skills that Matt honed through playing many hours of the Civilization franchise. These days, Matt’s primary focus is building out a world class Product Development org within Projectworks, while also helping land $20m in Series A financing, and a 2025 Hi-Tech Emerging Company of the Year win.
