The pressures of the market and customers, managing people onshore and offshore, managing your shareholders and board, and of course having time for family and yourself. Morgo’s mission is to make these journeys more sustainable for the CEOs of tech companies going global from New Zealand.

The Morgo CEO Leadership Program for companies with 20+ people

Dr Alia Bojilova

Alia’s PhD is in Resilience - she has written a book called that. With a background as psychologist to the SAS, Alia knows a lot about this subject. Now she runs programs and coaches CEOs around the world. Jenny was introduced to her by a mutual friend in Silicon Valley. Alia has been leading the Morgo CEO Leadership programs since the beginning of 2025.

In the 1990’s Jenny started an investment bank specialising in technology companies, and a year later started New Zealand’s first US-style VC fund. She has served on the boards of more than twenty companies from startups to one with over 20,000 people. She now dedicates her time to the Morgo Community of leaders of tech companies going global from New Zealand.

Guest speakers

The Alumni of the program and other guest speakers share their experiences and expertise across a wide range of areas. Morgo has a very rich community of CEOs to draw from. Contributing speakers last year included:

  • Ralph Highnam, who built Volpara Health Technologies
  • Vidya Dinamani, an expert in product management

Alia has designed a program specifically for leading fast growing companies out into the world. The challenges and ambiguity are stronger when you leave home. This program is to help you develop as a leader, learn to lead in an uncertain world and develop the team on the journey with you.It is a key strength of the Morgo CEO Leadership Program that you go on this journey in a cohort with your peers – fellow leaders of tech companies going global. You will each face different challenges in your companies and each bring different strengths, so by going on the learning journey together you learn more and develop lasting friendships to draw on.
